Today we were writing an alternate version of the Beowulf v Grendel story. The children retold the Grendel story with a monster of their choice, reimagining the story.

We kept some of the elements the same - that the Danes were plagued by a monster, that Lord Hrothgar and Beowulf would give speeches and that Beowulf would have to fight the new monster in the mead hall.
