Animal Town

When I arrived at Animal Town I was met by a bear who let me

through the gates, there was a pathway with trees that led to the

central square of the town. In the middle there was a fountain with

water glistening in the sunlight and around it there were shining

golden words which read 'ANIMAL TOWN'. The colour seemed to have faded away but they were still legible.

When people first arrive at Animal Town, they are either mesmerised by its beauty or find it strange to see a whole town inhabited by animals. I don't see how anyone could look at this place and find it bizarre. The moment I entered the silver gates I was dazzled. I wished I could live here, but it's only for animals even though they do have hotels for humans. But It still wouldn't be the same because I wouldn't be allowed to stay there forever . I walked around looking at every street and building with great interest. It looked like a fairy tale, but it wasn't, it was real. I think that after a while the animals seemed to think that I was weird as I kept on staring at everything over and over again

It was astonishing. There was a giraffe as a tour guide, a monkey as a bus driver, an ostrich as a secretary, a gorilla as a policeman, and a goat as a traffic warden. The town seemed as if it was all under control and very well run and organised. Until one night, while I was staying at the hotel Antelope, you can guess who owned it, a building caught fire and in the distance I saw a car driving away. It was clearly being driven by a human, but who? I started to realise that someone had set the building on fire on purpose, but who would want to do that?

1.Which animal would be suited to working in the health clinic? I think that a goat would be suited to work in a health clinic.

2.Can you give suggestions as to the occupations of the other animals in the picture? I think that the lion is a police officer, the orangutan the chief officer, the bear a giraffe as a secretary,the meerkats as actors, the zebra as a business person and the bear as an agent.

2.If you could have any job, what would it be and why? I would be a film director as I don't have to act and i can watch many films live and i would direct them.

3.If you could be any animal, what would it be and why? I would be a giraffe because they are one of my favourite animals.

4.What problems might they encounter in Animal Town that humans don’t encounter in human towns? We would encounter working and talking animals which we don't have.

5.Are there any similar problems that both animals and humans experience? There are many similar problems we both experience such as, losses and starvation.

6.Would animals be better off without humans? Would humans be better off without animals?I think that animals would be better off without humans as we kill animals, but we wouldn't be better off without them as they are vital to us.
