Ariana Grande was born in, June 26, 1993, in Boca Raton,to Edward Butera, a graphic designer, and Joan Grande, a business woman. She took singing and acting classes at a very young age and made her way onto the local theater scene before she was a teenager.

As a young teenager, Grande scored a role in a popular Broadway Musical. She played a cheerleader, and her bright personality and obvious talent won over audiences and critics alike-Grande even won a National Youth Theater Association Award for her work in 13.It was the musical that led to Grande's big break, as Cat valentine on the Nickelodeon series,Victorious,. Grande would appear on the show for several years, all while working on her musical career. She even scored the lead role in a spin off series,Sam and Cat, which premired on 2014.
