Hi my name is Laurie and I will be writing a book report. In this book the main plot is that there is a young boy called Barney and one day Barney had nothing to do so he went to the chalk pit and the cliff gave way and so did he, and then at the bottom of the pit was a boy calld Stig. So through out the story Stig shows Barney how to live like a cave man in modern times and Barney just tries to make people beleve that Stig is real.

I reccommend this book for people age eight, nine and ten

I give this book a star rating of four stars because in my opinion the begining it is a bit slow but the rest of the book is great : )
