A Road Bike is made up of different materials. Road Bikes are made of steel, aluminium, titanium and carbon fibre.

There are many types of bicycles that have different materials and different ride qualities that depends what type of brand you buy.

There are heavy and light body frames.

Depends what you need it.

Steel has been used by frame builders for over a century.

This material is easy to bend and shape.

Aluminium was first used in frame construction in 1895.

The magic ride is attributed to aluminium being the lightest frame material--even lighter than carbon and titanium

Carbon fibre is a relatively new material and unique, because it's not metal. Its fabric that is mixed with glue called resin that allows shaping and joining the material. Carbon frames are extremely light, stiff and durable.
