Arctic around north pole is almost all water.

At the centre the arctic is floating ice that never completely melts.

Animals who live there have white and thick fur such as, polar bears, arctic foxes, snow owls and arctic hares.

The summer has daylight 24 hours a day. At that time the ocean is full of tiny creatures called plankton. Animals like polar bears and whales come to eat them.
