The Story Of Hercules

Hercules's father was Zeus, King of Olympus, had given him a sword like no other. One made to destroy terrible monsters. He was planning on killing Monsieur Refoir. A Fire breathing dragon, Also known as the hydra but his guard Reginess had other plans...So Reginess told the demi-god to go to the dragons cave and slay it, but he didn't tell the wonderful man that every time the hydra had one of it's heads chopped off it would grow two more! Hercules set off for the Hydra's cave.When he arrived the Hydra was furious! So, not warned, Hercules cut off the terrible beasts head then, suddenly three more grew then nine then 27 then 81 so on so forth then Hercules was surrounded, he had two choices; fight like a man or retreat. Fight like a man would be suicide, so the only choice was to retreat and save himself. So Hercules retreated well at least he tried to...When he took one step he was pulled back it was Hercules's worst fear. THE BASILISK "I must not look at it, if I do I will die!" Thought Hercules as the basilisk slithered sleekly towards him quickly Hercules created a rockslide to kill the Hydra. Then the true hero drew his sword, closed his eyes and stabbed the basilisk as hard as he could. The ferocious battle was WON!!! Then finally Hercules could go home to Olympus where his father Zeus lived he did so and his father warmly welcomed him back!
