-The original Harry Potter manuscript was rejected 12 times by 12 different publishing houses before it was picked up by Bloomsbury
As well as the Harry Potter books, Joanne also wrote a book called 'Fantastic Beasts and where to find them', which was made into a film (much like the Harry Potter series).
Fantastic Beasts is all about Newt Scamander, a magizoologist (don't ask) who arrives in the city of New York with a briefcase full of magical creatures and a desire, or should I say 'Erised', to explore the world.
I think it is fair to say that J.K. Rowling is an amazing author who has produced many fantastic beasts books for us to all enjoy.
