The summer sun gleams on my feet as the birds are whizzing by,

Soon after, I see a worm and let out a mournful cry.

Boys are swinging in the trees giving me the creeps,

In the distance is the sound of the ice-cream van that bleeps.

All of the kids are playing, as happy as can be,

Little birds are hatching, all of them having their tea.

The wind is gently blowing the leaves,

Girls are frantically running around, some of them hugging a tree!

Creepy crawlies are scattered about,

There might be some you haven't checked out.

Babies are screaming at a paddling pool,

In the back yard, full of drool.

Now I am on holiday,

Well nearly, I'm on the way.

When I get there, I'm sure I'll have fun,

Playing on the beach and enjoying the sun.

I Hope You Enjoyed My Poem!!
