With your child please collect a range of autumn items such as, leaves, acorns,conkers etc. We will be using them to create a giant collage of a hedgehog with the children next week. Please send these in on Monday. Whilst collecting your autumn items please encourage your child to look carefully at the similarities and differences between the leaf colours and shapes. This is a great activity for developing your child’s language.

Next week we will be using the apples from Mrs Stephens’ 100 year old tree to make delicious apple cake. We will be going on an autumn walk around the school grounds to look for signs of seasonal change. We will also be making autumn patterns and using the seasonal changes as inspiration for our writing.

We will be tidying up our Foundation garden area and would be very grateful for any bulbs and winter bedding contributions that you would like to make.
