The main character is called Oliver. There is more named Mr Culpepper and Iris (the mermaid). Also Olivers parents are main characters.

The story is about a young boy called Oliver

and he is 10 years old and he loses his parents but he is not worried and he starts a adventure.

My favorite part is when Oliver loses his parents in the island because they get muddled up and it was a amazing part to read.

Also I liked when Oliver finds Mr Culpepper

becausehe he had so much enegy and that is really nice to read.
