Different types of homes around the world

Last week we looked at different types of Homes the children lived in. We talked about Detached, semi detached, bungalows, flats, terraced and cottages.

The Children loved talking about their homes and enjoyed constructing the different types of homes, with duplo, stickle bricks and outside with the buliding blocks.

This week we have looked at homes around the world. We have looked at Teepees, Yurts, Mud huts, houses on stilts, Igloos and log cabins.

Mrs Lineker and the children had great fun outside building Teepees! They used big sticks and string to make the frame and then covered it with material.

Next week we are looking at building homes.
