The titanic was luxurious , big and strong but it sank

because its compartments were not water tight

1.It was built on March

21st 1909

2.She set sail on April

10th 1912 from the white star dock in southampton

3.The captain Edward John Smith was warned but he paid no attention and carried on sailing.

4. 2 hrs after the

captain was last warned

the ship lookout fleet

spotted an iceberg directly

ahead !!!

5 .They were trying as hard as they could not to hit it but

it was too late :(

6.Lots of people were

dying and the ship was sinking

It was harder for women to

swim because they were wearing

heavy long dresses that pulled them

down.
