Antoni Gaudi was a very famous artist in the country of Spain.He

was not just a brilliant artist but he was also an architect.

Antoni Gaudi was born on the 25th June in 1852 and was born in Reus,a country in Catalonia.His father was a boilermaker but when Antoni was little he loved the outdoors and would stay out for ages.He was fascinated in nature so when he was 27 he joined some people who explore the countryside.

A few years after he graduated he was told to take charge

building a cathedral and this donated his work.When he had finished it was an absolutely fabulas marsterpiece and he named it Sagrada Familia.After thishe became very wealthy and rich.

Then suddenly one terrible day he got run over by a tram {an electric train} on the 7th June in 1926.they believe that he was begging for something as if he were a beggar.He went straight to the Hospital and finally died on the 10th of June 1926 at the age of 73.
