1) I think their nest has been blown away by the storm.

2) The mother possum is thinking about finding a new place for her and her babies to live before any bigger animals catch them.

3) I think the baby possum with the best seat is the one in the middle because it's sturdier and less chance to fall off. It's also well balanced and cushioned between the others.

4) I think we use our ears the most because we have noises all around us and they help us to sense danger. We are constantly listening as we can't close your ears.

Story

They had journey through many forests to find their next home. The little possums were getting very tired so their mum had to stop to find a tiny shelter under some leaves to sleep for the night. The next day it was still raining, the clouds were dark as coal and the lightening was thrashing down from the sky. Although the baby possums were scared of it they wouldn't let it stop them from finding a new home. Their mum carried on leaping from tree to tree with her little babies on her back until she found an empty birds nest made out of twigs and leaves. The mother possum was happy she had found a new home and so were the babies. Since the nest was quite old she decided to add some new leaves and make it bit nicer and more comfortable for them.
