The Olymipic games began over
two thousand seven hundred
years ago in Olympia, South West
Greece and happened every
four years. they did this
to worship Zeus [the god of
all gods/goddesses] and give
him offerings of love.
They created the Olympics
because they loved competition
of all sorts. Every four years,
although the ancient games were
staged in ancient Greece.
the Olympic continued even after Greece
was conquered by Rome, but the last
game were held in 394 A.D., after which
they were abolished by Emperor
Thedosius 1 as a pagan festival.
