Cotton
cotton comes from a plant
called cotton plant. You can
grow a cotton plant by
planting the seeds shallowly.
Then, after about 2 months,
blossoms appear. These turn
red and fall but they leave
a green pod. The plant's
fruit is called boll. Inside of
a boll there are about 20 to
40 seeds and after 55 days
the seeds open and form
the cotton plant.
Wool
Wool is a fibre
that forms a
covering for
hairy mammals
such as sheep,
camels and
goats. The wool
protects the
animal from both
cold
and hot.
Along
time ago,
humans
learned
to use
wool to
make
clothes.
