My Christmas Holidays
My Christmas Holidays started off really exciting. We left school and went to my Mum and Dad's work and we were asked to pick out the tickets for the work raffle. I was quite nervous as it was in front of 120 people. Then we were lucky because we went to Wagamama with my annoying little brother Gilbert and some of Mums friends. On the weekend we went to Lille on the train with some friends, Woody, JJ, Teena and Anton. We drove the car on to the train. (I know, you are thinking how on earth do you get a car onto a train?!) We drove the car onto the train and parked and then it was like were trapped and it took 30 minutes though it felt like about 10. When we got to Lille we drove off and we had a turn on the Wheel in Lille. The wheel went really high and at the top I got really freaked out becuase the wheel stopped and was wobbly and I leaned over the edge!!!
When we came back from Lille we drove to my Nanny and Grandad's, it took 2 hours to get to Birmingham. When I woke up on Christmas morning I was really excited. The first time I woke up it was 2am but my Mum told me to go back to bed because it was too early to get up. It took me ages to get back to sleep. The next time I woke up I felt really happy because I had got lots of presents and everything I wanted. There was a trail of 5p's down the stairs and I felt like I was rich. But I wasn't. I went to see all my cousins and Auntie's and Uncles. There were so many people and everyone was opening their presents at once. It sounded like a fox scrambling out of a dustbin!
We went to stay in a hotel, it was kind of spooky, especially where my mum and dad were sleeping but I shared a room with my brother. I really liked it because in our room we had our own telly but I was sad because it didn't have any good channels. Then we went on this massive walk, it was meant to be 2 hours and it was really exciting because it was freezing and I could slide on the ice puddles.
