The storm

We were having a picnic on the deck when I saw grey clouds in the sky. Rain started dripping so we decided to go inside when the thunder storm began.

My mum made us a big warm mug of hot chocolate to warm us up. My brother Samuel started crying when he saw the lightning because he was afraid of lightning. So my mum started cuddling him and took us to our cabin were we couldn't see the lightning and could feel safer.

My dad and I went to check how bad the storm was. When we stepped outside the rain was so bad that I was drenched to the skin. We went back inside as fast as lightning. My mum was already waiting for us with a clean set of clothes.

After we got changed I went to cuddle my dog Molly I felt that relaxing while my dad tried to steer the boat me and my mum tried to help as much as we could. After a few hours we had made it to shot the storm was getting worse but we were on land so no one was panicking or feeling scared
