The Water Tower

This week in Literacy we have been looking at a book called The Water Tower. We have been using descriptive writing to write up our own predictions about the story.

This Week in Year 4...

In our Reading lesson we have begun to read the book, Alice in Wonderland. We found out that this book is 152 years old and it used to be called Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. We enjoyed looking at the original illustrations of the characters.

In Maths we have been learning about place value and negative numbers. We have also set ourselves an times table target.

We have also started our Potions topic this week, we have decorated our front covers of our topic book with different textures in the shape of a potion bottle.
