How I spent my Carnival holidays

Happy carnival! I had lots of fun during the carnival holidays. I spent some time playing online games with my best friend Zaia and with my cousin Ava playing princesses against fairies.

On Friday my brother and I went to Mc Donalds. I ordered my favourite chicken burger. It was delicious! On Sunday together with brother, mum and dad we went to my dad's field for a picnic. After lunch we helped dad to fix the hut in the field. I had the job to paint the door. It was very messy and my hands and clothes were full of paint drops.

On Saturday morning and Tuesday evening I went to hockey training. While waiting for my brother to finish his training I played with my little friend Ritnia. We did some picture colouring and sang nursery rhymes together. On the last day of the carnival holidays, we went fishing with my brother's friend Kane and his family. We caught lots of big fish but I don't like the stinky smell of fish!

I enjoyed the carnival holidays but I miss going to Valletta to see the big and colourful carnival trailers.
