My balanced argument on deforestation

Deforestation is destroying a lot of the life in the rain forest. Many animals are going
to be extinct at this rate. Many species are losing their homes and suffering the consequences of human activity. These forests are known as the lungs of the earth, and provide much of our oxygen. But people need the trees for furniture and special plants for medicine. We need space for the growing population, which means more mouths there are to feed, and more food sources are required. This is a hard situation to decide
what to do. At this rate, there will be no rain forest left. We need to limit ourselves soon.
