Prospero's Soliloquy

Today, we heard Shakespeare's story of The Tempest, a play that is set on an island similar to Alchemy Island.

We read a soliloquy that the character of Prospero says at the end of the play, and memorised our own version of it.

We tried to speak confidently, using appropriate volume and expression.

Prospero is a wizard in the story, who gives away his powers at the end.

He is asking the audience to forgive him for what he has done and allow him to leave the island so that he can live happily with his family.
