As my car drew up at what was soon to be my new house, I peered through the misty air to lay eyes on the neglected, unloved building.A shiver shot down my spine at the thought of what friends would say when they saw what a dump I was living in. As it was nothing like their fancy houses with butlers and servants big bedrooms and acres of amazing gardens. Instead my house would be adorned with tea stained family photos and childish drawings drawn by my three year old self. Instead of grand golden gates I'd have leaves impaled on rusty, tired looking railings. So tentatively I decided to purposefully avoid them until the house was at least looking normal but unfortunately for me things were about to go the other way.
