Amazing arctics

I am writing to tell you about my favorite animal, the Arctic wolf. This report will focus on its habitat, diet, behavior ect. If you think you know about Arctic wolves then think again read on and find out whats behind their grey coat of fur.

Habitat:

Arctic wolves normally live in country's like Canada, Alaska, and Iceland which are in the arctic circle.Some live in tundra forests and grass plains.

Diet:

They have a certain diet ,in it they would eat: deer, elk ,and moose they are carnivores so they only eat ,

meat. The way they acheive their meal is by hunting in packs. Due to hunting in this style, they have an advantage over their prey. Consequently they can trap their prey and suprisingly ware down larger animals, because of their large numbers, and working as a team.

Behavior:

If a wolf pack gets too big, slowly but surely it breaks up into smaller groups of males and females to mate. This is because the food has to go around between the packs, so they have to be a suitable size.
