A wonderful butterfly

Last month, I was walking home from school when I noticed a large butterfly on a flower in a field at the side of the road. I had never seen such a beautiful butterfly. Its colours seemed to glow. I scrambled over the rubble wall to get closer to it

I crept slowly, careful not to trample on the wild flowers. As I got closer I noticed the vivid colours on the butterfly 's wing. I knelt down right next to it and I prayed that it would not fly away . The green on its wings sparkled like jewels, and the blue reminded me of the sea. All of a sudden it flew away. As I watched it get smaller I remembered how amazing nature is.
