How to survive SATs : the 5 tips
Do you want to survive SATs, do you get 2C's every time, well look no further, as Jan and Joseph will tell you how to get fabulous levels (4A, 5C's) So listen to Jan and Joseph kids, to give you some info on how to survive SATs, so let's begin!!!!!
1. You must read the instructions given to you on each paper, you never know there might be a loophole that will help you get higher marks e.g. your teacher can read the questions to you so you understand a bit more;they won't always be able to help you.
2. If you don't understand a question, leave it until you have finished the test for example in a reading comprehension, literal questions are gold bars, so answer all the literal questions first and then answer the questions in case you run out of time. In addition evaluation question seem hard, but when you look at it, you olnly have to give 3 different points, they can be your ticket to Level 4 City. (Heck, even Level 5 City if you're lucky)
3. Keep calm, it's only the SATs after all, after 4 days you can chill out and
play computer games and go to the garden and drink soda until your
stomach falls out. And they are easy! I mean come on! You just need to do
3 subjects:Grammar, Reading and Maths.
4. Remember, all you need is a teeny level 4, nothing big, on the reading, if
you get all 20 literal questions right, you'll get a Level 4 (a.k.a 18 marks)
For Grammar, at least 30-40 marks, and most are questions like 'Circle the
connective' which are easy!!!!! TOP TIP : Remember to read the question
CAREFULLY! If it says tick two, TICK TWO!!!!!!! And for Maths, 46, if you get 20 on Mental Maths, you just need 26 in your normal tests! THAT'S EASY!!!!!
5. Finally, don't worry, you'll go to High School, even if you end up in Low, you'll still learn everything you needed to get a Level 5, so don't worry, relax and you'll do better but remember go to sleep early and eat your breakfast, and chillax!
