2.An unthinkably gruesome fate is that if the miller's daughter doesn't spin the straw into gold the king will do something bad to her.


3.I think that the king is very harsh on the miller's daughter because he locks her in a room to spin straw into hay and each day he gives her more.


4.I think that the miller feels guilty as he was the one who told the king that her daughter could spin straw into gold. He also feels worried as the king told him that if his daughter couldn't spin straw into gold she would have an unthinkable gruesome fate.
