It's a knockout!

Steve and Stacey love playing tennis.

is Pete Samms.

One afternoon Dad was watching the news on T.V. and he heard that Pete Samms was coming to their town to play a tennis game. Dad went to buy the tickets and gave Steve and Stacey a big surprise. The children were very excited.

The day of the game came and they went to watch the game with mum and dad. As they were watching the game Pete Samms dived and hit the ball very hard. The ball went towards the crowd and hit Stacey in the head.

Mum and dad were very worried because Stacey felt dizzy but she was not badly injured. They took her to the hospital. The doctor examined her and told her that she was fine and that she needed to rest.

After some time Pete Samms came to the hospital. He wanted to tell her that he was very sorry for having hit her with the ball. He also had a surprise for her. He won the game and he wanted Stacey to keep the trophy! Stacey felt over the moon! What a surprise!
