THE FIGHT BACK
1. The name of the illness caused by coronavirus is called COVID-19.
2. If anyone in a household develops a cough or temperature you should stay at home (isolated) for 14 days.
3. The word in the first paragraph that means strongly advised is 'urged.'
4. The good news is that barely anyone who catches the virus dies.
5. 1. 'Now countries across the globe are at war with it.'

6. Now, after reading this article, I would tell my Granny to stay at home, not even to go out for a short stroll.
7a. A ventilator helps breathing for someone who is finding breathing tough.
7b. Lots of factories are now trying to make ventilators rather than their usual products. A 3D printing company printed 100 ventilator valves for a hospital that ran out.
8. William Gibson came up with the idea of a website that matches song lyrics of any song to a 13 step hand wash routine.
9. I think William Gibson's idea will be helpful in the war against the virus because it will make people more keen to wash their hands thoroughly.
10a. I'm not concerned for myself about the coronavirus but I am about my grandparents even though they've been very careful and are in no place to catch it.
