Lighthouse Catastrophe!

Last Sunday, at 9.30pm, a terrifying eventccurred at Sandbatch. While local people was drinking the night away, a lighthouse (just by the shore of Sandbatch beach) went out and every thing went pitch dark...

The lighthouse , which was never faulty, suddenly got into trouble. The lighthouse keeper was writing a letter and then

suddenly a bang came from top of the lighthouse. The light broke. "This stopped everyone in their tracks," exclaimed Joe Banker a shop keeper.

The lighthouse keeper (Bob) explained that he tried to fix the bulb but he accidentally smashed it in his hurry. That's when he heard a ship approaching. "My heart was racing," said Bob ,"and it could be all my fault."

Luckily the local people had a brilliant idea

to make a beacon with their lanterns. If it was not for their brilliant idea then loads of lives could have been lost. Now the lighthouse is fixed and the relationship of Bob and the townspeople are better.

Every thing is going well.
