A warm welcome to all the children and their families inFoundation 2! The children are settling in beautifully and are having lots of fun. The learning theme next week will be ‘Being Me’.

For the challenge we ask that you share books about starting school. Please talk with your child about all of the things that they have experienced so far and find out what they have enjoyed the most. We ask that you post your child’s favourite school activities on the blog.

It is good practice to only use your child’s first name whenposting on the blog.

Next week we will continue to introduce the children to all ofthe exciting things we do in Foundation 2, like going to the school library andthe ICT suite!

We would also like to take this opportunity to ask that you complete, sign and return the Student Information booklet; this can be found in your child’s wallet.

Please check that any food items that you send into school either in lunchboxes or as birthday treats contain no nuts or nut traces. We have a child in school with a serious nut allergy and it is important that every precaution is taken to ensure their safety. Thank you for your support.
