CHALLENGE
KEEPING SAFE
SAFER INTERNET DAY
LIBRARY
These are some of the things we thought
about in assembly.
Think about these again with your teacher.
- What things do you like to do online?
- What would the world be like if we turned
off the internet?
- Who can use the internet?
- Does everyone always feel welcome online?
- Is everyone always nice online?
- Why is being SMART online so important?
- How can you be SMART online?
SMART
SAFE
Keep personal information safe
MEET
Friends made online are strangers
meeting them can be dangerous.
ACCEPTING
Accepting files can be dangerous
Check with an adult.
RELIABLE
Not everyone or everything online
is reliable or trustworthy.
TELL
Always tell an adult if something online
upsets or worries you.
REMEMBER
Why do you think that Albert Einstein said 'The only thing that you absolutely
have to know is the location of the library?
Do you think that we still need libraries?
Why do you think this?
What did you learn about famous libraries from the past and the present?
In what ways do we communicate information?
How much do you think of a person's success is also due to their good fortune?
