In science we leant about different types of pressure. In air pressure weight has no effect at all but in water pressure it does! We did an experiment. We dropped 2 balls of the same size 1 heavier than the other but they landed at the same time! Then we took a jug of water and 2 pieces of  plasticine weighing the same amount one flat and one a ball. The flat one floated but the ball dropped to the surface. We looked at a video which told us that if the displaced water weighs more than the the part of boat that displaced it then the boat will sink.
