The strange machine

I was with my dad in Valletta because there was a Christmas parade. There were a lot of people. Then somebody from my dad's work called him to go to work and he had to take me with him. I was super happy because I never visited my dad's place of work.

When we arrived, he headed straight to the meeting. I was not allowed in, so I decided to run in the endless corridors but after a few minutes I was already burned out. After exploring the area, I found a small room and inside there was this strange machine. On it there was a sign that said, 'DO NOT TOUCH!!!' This is a time machine we are still doing some research on it.

The machine was massive, aqua blue and of an octagonal shape. The machine had a lot of buttons and levers on it. There was an ON and OFF button too. Next to the machine there was a time portal. If you push the ON button the time portal will turn on and if you jump in it, you will go to a different year, month, week or day. I was always curious about the future so I inserted the year 4040.

After I plunged in, I landed in the same room at my dad's place of work but this time it was totally different. It was made all out of titanium and it was super duper shiny. Everything was made of iron except that room. I got out of the room so I could explore the place. Way back, the place was used to make science tests. Nowadays it is used for new technologies.

As soon as I got out of the building I saw people with their pets but their pets were robots. All the buildings were made out of iron even the floor and it was super slippery and smooth. You could even ice skate on it.

I was really missing my father and he was probably worried sick about me. Finally, I decided to go back to the same room so I could jump in the time portal and go back to my father. When I arrived my father was still in the meeting so he did not even realize that I travelled through time. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!
