RMS Titanic

The titanic was a luxurious steam ship was built by the White Star line.

The ship was the most impressive and was the biggest too, measuring 28 metres wide and 53 metres tall. The ship was launched on the 31st March. The RMS titanic stands for " Royal Mail steamer". Their were over. then 2,200 people on board and 900 of which were crewmates. On the 10th April, the titanic set out on their first ever mission. Their were 700 class passengers.

Everyone loved the titanic but unfortunately only three days after setting sail, the titanic struck an iceberg, somewhere in the North Atlantic. Most of the people that had been in the titanic died from the cold within only fifteen minutes because the water was 2 degrees.

The bow is still recognisable with many preserved interiors, despite deterioration and damaged sustained hitting the sea floor.
