My Easter Holiday

Diary

At the beginning

we made our Easter Garden with the tomb and Golgotha where the crosses

were. Our Granny did this too.

We had a practise

run at making Hot Cross Buns and my mum and I decorated some Easter Eggs together.

Also we went

to the Welsh Harp early Holy Saturday for a walk. Almost no one was there.

Then came Easter

where we rolled away the stone and left the white cloth in the empty tomb. We ate chocolate and celebrated Jesus rising

again.

The next day

we made scones, chocolate cake (for Dad) and sourdough bread. We thoroughly enjoyed them all!

It was my Dad’s

birthday during the holidays but unfortunately he broke his elbow and rib while

skateboarding the day before.

We did a lot

of gardening, cooking and baking, like we planted seeds in our new garden. We cooked burgers on the barbeque and made a

lemon drizzle cake.

I hope you

enjoyed reading my easter holiday diary and I look forwards to learning about

everyone else’s Easter.

Wow! Your holiday really has been jam-packed! Hope your Dad is better now - I am sure eating that chocolate cake helped his getting well process! Send pics of all your lovely treats if you can so we can all see your baking efforts : )
