Sir Francis Drake

He was born in 1540 in Devon England.he was the greatest sea captain of all

time. The Queen asked him to go to Spain and steal the Golden Hinde.

Francis Drake was buried in the carribean by travelling in the water in1596.

Francis Drake was married in 1569-1581 with Elizabeth Sydenham and married Mary Newman from 1581-1596.

He was the first Englishman to circumnavigate the world. He was the person to destroy the Spanish armada with some helpers.He executed 4 of his men. His mum is called Mary Drake and his dad is called Edmund Drake.
