Galileo Galilei
Galileo Galilei was born in 1564, in Italy.
He became a physicist, astronomer and a mathematician.
Galileo discovered that the moon was covered in mountains.
Using his telescope he also discovered that the sun was covered with dark areas called sunspots. He believed that the sun is the central of the Solar System and was orbited by Earth and other plants. Galileo died in 1642. Nowadays he is known as THE FATHER OF MODERN SCIENCE.
