	Lesson 2: Tenths as decimals

Watch the video, then either print the activity, or view it on your screen. When you are finished, get someone to check your answers. Finish by writing about the lesson in your Learning Diary. What did you think of it?

When you have finished, you can take on 5G in your first TT Rockstars Malorees Monster League battle - any time between 10am and 8pm today. There's more information here or on the video here.

10.30 English - Persuasive Writing

Find the English Week 1 pack from the Year 4 Week 1 menu. Your fourth lesson is: 
 DAY 4: I can use persuasive language in a real life situation       
Today you will be asked to use your new found knowledge to help you persuade someone in the house to do something e.g. persuade your mum/dad to cook your favourite meal for dinner. Remember to use persuasive language and organise your argument beforehand. Good luck!

1.00 - 2.15 Personal Project: Theme of your choice 

(I suggested this yesterday, but I don't think anyone has told us what they're going to do yet ... Apologies if I missed your post!)

Think of a topic or theme that you are passionate about and create a project (not online).

You will have to:
Think of a subject/topic
Research the topic
Decide on a title and subheadings
Create a content page
Create images to go with your writing
Decide how to present your work (coloured paper/booklet etc)

A FEW RULES: 
You have to think of something you enjoy and thus would like to teach all the rest of us about. 
You have to hand write the whole project. As most of our daily learning will be done online I don't want you to forget how to write, so this will be a weekly task to keep the beautiful handwriting you have already started to carve for yourself on point!
You have to bring it in when we come back (whenever this will be) and we will spend the day sharing each others passion and learning something new and random!

I look forward to seeing these. Remember, don't post the project as this will be shared on our return, but when you decide on a topic share it with us so we can all get excited about the prospect of what we might learn about : )
