Please sing this nursery rhyme with your child and talk about advent, the countdown to Christmas.

The children have another fun packed week ahead! Singing Twinkle, Twinkle and sharing stories related to night time such as ‘Goodnight Owl’ and ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’. The children will have opportunities to explore torches and create using shiny, sparkly media. F1 children will be learning about positional language and F2 will be learning to recognise coins and share out objects equally. The children will work together to create a Foundation Advent Tree.

Next week will be the last Reading Together session before Christmas. The sessions will begin again on Wednesday 13 th January 2016
