The children have had a fantastic first week and are settling well into their new routine.We would like to wish all the parents and carers a very warm welcome to the Foundation Unit.

Each Friday we will send home a challenge for you to help your child complete. This will support the learning that will take place the following week. For the first challenge we ask that you send in a picture of your child in their favourite room in your home. This could be a photo or a picture that your child has drawn. Using a range of materials please help your child to make a frame for their picture. Please send these in by Thursday 11th September.

Dates for your diary

Wednesday 10th September 2:45 – 3:30pm: Phonics/Reading meeting for all F2 parents/carers.

Tuesday 16th September 3:00 – 3:30: Reading Together Sessions begin. (A time to share a book with your child in the Foundation Unit)

We will be organising the family groups very soon and so the following Stay and Play dates will depend on which group your child is placed.

Tuesday 21st October: Stay & Play for Giraffes

Thursday 23rd October: Stay & Play for Tigers
