ZAKI'S HOME-WORK

1)The new illness caused by coronavirus is called COVID-19 (corona virus disease 2019).

2)If anyone at home develops a cough or a temparature they need to self isolate for 14 days :(

3)In the first 2 paragraphs the word "urged" and "key parts" mean strongly advised.

4)The journalist describes good news as nearly everyone will survive.

5)Now countries across the globe are at war with it.

6)If I was talking to my grandparents I would tell them that everything is going to be OK and that they shouldn't worry to much.

7a)A ventilator is a piece of equipment that helps people to breath.

7b)Companies are helping out by using there machines to make ventilators instead of their usual products.

8)The brilliant idea that William Gibson came up with is a website that puts song lyrics into a 13 step hand-washing poster instead of singing happy birthday 2 times.

9)I don't think William Gibson's idea is going to help in the fight against coronavirus because people can still sing happy birthday twice so it won't make much difference because either way you are still going to end up washing your hands in the end.
