They were trying to get people to stop passing things on to the Germans because that could cost lives. The Germans could find out there plans and bomb them instead.

If people spoke, the Germans would come and bomb them first. In this poster, someone could of spoke and the Germans could of bombed this mans ship and he could be drowning just because some one told!
