to get people who

in the war such as

disabled, injured or

children who were to

young to fight dig

and grow their own

vegetables. This was

so they could eat and

supply others with food

to last the war. The

slogan is quite obviously

DIG ON FOR VICTORY

the poster was put in

place so supply ships

would not keep

sinking
