having been locked inside the tower for three days.The millers daughter was beginning to despair . The king had told her in no uncertain terms that this was a life or death situation ;she would either spin the straw into gold or would face an unthinkably gruesome fate.

Just as she was about to give up all hope .With her caroused hand uselessly pleading with the spinning wheel when something unexpected happened.

over by the window was her father and he had collected little strands of gold and said "daughter take the gold and give me the straw were I will find someone who can spin straw into gold.'thud thud bang' the door flew open and the kings men came and seized

the millers daughter and took her to the kings court and they said "she got help from the old miller and when we got hold of him he Just disipeared into thin air ." "did you see the girl do at least some strands of gold in her hands." said the king "yes" replied the guards the guards let the daughter of the miller go and gave the daughter a chest full of gold and the miller and his daughter lived in a big house and had lots of money and gold coming in because the miller had other people working for him.
