My Ancient Egypt
Over the last half term I was lucky enough to learn about Ancient Egypt.
My favourite thing is how people got mummified.
Pharaoh
King Tut was a Pharaoh for 10 years. Some people believe that he died cause of a foot bite and others believe that his sister killed him because she wanted to be a queen and she was a queen.
Mummification
When people died they got mummified. They got raped up in bandages. Before they tuck the organs out and put them in the conopic jars.
Pyramids
Pyramids are a work of art. Slaves made pyramids for Pharaohs and they got really tired also they were told that they have to be big.
River Nile
The river Nile is the longest river in Ancient Egypt. Most people live near the River Nile as it provides food ,growth and good transportation.
The Afterlife
The God Anubis sends the mummified people to the afterlife the only leave the heart because they need it in the afterlife.
Sphinx
When slaves were building the Sphinx the nose fell of. The Sphinx has a head of a human and the body of a lion.
Hieroglyphics
In Ancient Egypt they use hieroglphics so they can write letters to each other.
Conopic Jars
When they were taking the organs out and put them in the Conopic Jars
