England 1-1 Italy
A minute before the game had started, there was a one minute applause for Jimmy Armfield (England), Cyrille Regis(England) and David Astori(Italy). Before the match began, I predicted the score would be England 2-1 Italy.
The teams for this match were: England(3-3-2-2)Jack Butland starts in goal, Kyle Walker is right-back, John Stones takes the centre-back position, James Tarkowski makes his debut at left-back, Kieran Trippier is right- wing back, Eric Dier will captain England at centre-midfielder, Ashley Young makes his his first England start since 2013 at left-wing back, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jesse Lingard are the attacking-midfielders, Raheem Sterling and Jamie Vardy will start as strikers.
Italy:(4-3-3) Gianluigi Donnaruma starts in goal, Davide Zappacosta is right-back, Leonardo Bonucci and Daniel Rugani are centre-backs, Matteo De Sciglio is left-back,Maurico Pellegrini,Jorginho and Marco Parolo are centre-midfielders,Antonio Candreva is left-wing,Lorenzo Insigne is right-wing,Ciro Immobile starts as striker.
As Italy kick-off this match, I was super excited as I had never been to the iconic Wembley Stadium. Italy got the better of England during the early stages with John Stones two mistakes putting Immobile through on goal. But England made an instant reply with Vardy blasting from close-range. After Vardy's goal, England dominated most of the first-half with Sterling's shot blocked off the line by Zappacosta. Insigne had a good chance which was well saved by Butland.

Half Time
England kicked off this second half as the arch on top of Wembley Stadium started to go bright, colourful red. England's best chance in the second half came when Ashley Young came breaking down the left wing and whipped it into the area where Vardy and Sterling were waiting, ready to pounce. The ball came to Vardy with his header smashing the crossbar. Just then, in the 85th minute, Italy came sprinting down the middle and then, Insigne was fouled inside the box by Stones. The referee needed VAR to see if it was a penalty or not. It took him a while to work it out, when he did, he gave a PENALTY!!!!!! I was extremely shocked as Stones barely touched him. Insigne steps up to take it... ...and scores!!!
I will never forget the best day of my life!
