Review of today's learning

Thanks to all the children who attended 4Ks online teaching school today, it was nice to see you all navigate your way through this new way of learning with a resilient attitude : ) There were a few hiccups with it being day 1, but hopefully tomorrow will be a little smoother now you know how this works!

Make sure you are making full use of all the pages I'm posting by scrolling down the PP slides and pressing on the tab in the right hand corner. The pages have been designed to give you useful instructions for each topic area I suggest you cover in that day (This is just a suggestion to keep some structure to your day but you can decide how closely you want to follow it as a family).

DR Review

Well done all those who read pages 7 & 8 of Into the Jungle today (text can be found in Year 4 section on https://malorees.j2webby.com/).

Tomorrow we will continue with pages 9 and 10. Questions can be found in Year 4 section or the new PP I will post tomorrow.

RE Review

Big shout out to Owen who was the only one to post work about Sikhism and the turban! Finding out that Sikh is the only religion that requires you to wear a turban. Other people wear if because they may live in hot countries (farmers) or for fashion! Great work Owen - keep it up. *If for some reason you didn't complete this task the PP will be online all week so give the task a go sometime throughout the week : )

Literacy Review

Firstly, I would like to send out a special mention to Hadi D and Adam for doing a super job with this task!

Today you were asked to come up with some common features of a persuasive text - this was to help you identify what will be needed when you write your final piece. You should have come up with something like the poster below. Have a look at the list below and add any features you haven't included in your list with a different colour pen/pencil/felt tip (just like when we edit using a purple pen in school)
