Great fire of london

The fire began in pudding lane on the

2nd of September 1666.It started in a

bakery owned by Thomas fraynor at around 1 o'clock in the morning although many people

woke up around 3 o'clock . At 7 am 300 house

were destroyed . Only 6 people died

but many were injured . At 10 am samuel Pepys

traveled to tell king Charles what had happened but he did not care so he went back to bed.

The houses were made out of wood so they could catch fire quickly.People said lets pull house down but some people did not agree with them.
